Mining and Resources
Fertoz identified the long term value of securing high quality grade rock phosphate in 2012 when it purchased the rights to strategic tenements in British Columbia, Canada and secured the rights to mines in Montana USA and Monterrey Mexico.
A finite resource, phosphate is the building blocks of life and crucial to our existence as a major crop input and soon to be a crucial component of batteries. Having access to such a resource, in a region of North America that is somewhat limited to rock phosphate supply is a cornerstone of our success.
Each of these deposits plays a key role in our ability to provide regenerative, organically certified forms of high grade phosphate (>20% P2O5) to the agricultural industry across North America and will continue to expand as we invest further to discover additional supply.
