Ben Bussell
Chief Financial Officer

Ben is a Senior Accountant with over twenty three years’ experience in public accounting, corporate accounting and taxation. Ben is currently the Chief Financial Officer of several ASX-listed and private entities. Ben has previously been a non-executive director of several ASX-listed companies including Auroch Minerals Ltd and SWW Energy Ltd. Ben’s current role is primarily focused on preparation of general and special purpose financial reports and managing all aspects of their independent audit and reporting to stakeholders. Ben is currently a member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
Les Szonyi
Carbon Lead – Australasia
Dr Szonyi has over 40 years’ experience in the chemical and fertiliser industry. He is responsible for Fertoz’s fertiliser and nature-based carbon solutions business in Australia and Asia Pacific and is Managing Director of Fertoz Agriculture Pty Ltd in Australia, a 100% owned subsidiary of Fertoz Ltd. His previous role was CEO and Managing Director of Fertoz Ltd from April 2011 to July 2015. Les has a Phd and B.E. in chemical engineering from Sydney University.
Dylan Treadwell
Mining & Operations Manager
Dylan Treadwell is an experienced manufacturing and mining professional with 8+ years of management experience in the mining, crushing and processing of aggregates and cement. He has managed mining teams of up to 50 personnel and has overseen various mine development and improvement projects, including quarry expansions and the installation of fixed and mobile crushing plant infrastructure. Mr Treadwell has a special interest in the decarbonization of mining and is dedicated to driving innovation, efficiency and sustainability in mining in order to reduce carbon footprint.
Mr Treadwell holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) Hons. from the University of Wollongong and previously held Quarry Leadership positions at Lafarge Canada Inc. and Boral Ltd. Australia.
Mr. Jo Shearer
Geologist, British Columbia (B. C.), Canada
Mr Shearer has more than 45 years’ experience in geology and successful exploration. His geological experience covers open pit and underground precious metals, copper, lead/zinc and a focus on numerous industrial minerals (phosphate, silica, limestone, gypsum and others). Mr Shearer has designed and operated open cut quarries for cement raw materials, limestone and gypsum. He has directly supervised various projects with up to 24 staff in remote areas of Yukon and Northern BC for major drilling, trenching, bulk sampling and road building projects and has also completed numerous projects in Nevada, Missouri and Texas. He is experienced in mine reclamation and working with local indigenous First nations.
Mr Shearer is a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, Geological Society of London, Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Society of Economic Geologists and a registered P.Geo. (BC & Ontario). He holds a M.Sc. degree from University of London, Imperial College and a B.Sc. Honours from the University of British Columbia.
